When we originally opened for service a few weeks ago, we asked everyone to bring their bikes in and get ready for Spring riding. At the time it seemed like the shop had so much space in it that we would never fill it. We were very very wrong. As new bike shipments from Jamis came in, we quickly ran out of space to put new bikes and customer bikes awaiting pickup. Bikes on the walls, bikes leaning against the couch, bikes everywhere.
Merckx Cycles Are Here!
Come check out the newest offerings from Merckx Cycles. Our shop is the only place in the area featuring these Pro-Tour quality frames and complete bikes. Tom Boonen and the rest of Team Quickstep rode the Merckx EMX-5 on the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix we sold one before the wheels had even hit the ground. Hot. Hot. Hot.
Harpeth Bicycles Is Open For Service
We have been busy working on customer's bikes ever since we opened our doors for service on April 10th. Our service area has already become a great place to hang out, watch a bike race on the big screen TV, and talk with the shop staff while your bike gets a tuneup. Stop by today. We'd love to see you AND your bike!
Jamis Exile 29er – In Store Now
Bigger is better, right? In the case of mountain bike wheels, this is true in many cases. 29 inch wheels roll over obstacles better than standard 26 inch wheels, smoothing out the ride. The Jamis Exile 29er is an affordable entry point into big-wheel mountain biking.
Ask us about 650b mountain bikes. Do it when you aren’t in a hurry. Everybody in the crew is a big fan of this “in-between” wheel size. 650b bikes have been slowly gaining in popularity, and this bike from Jamis is proof that the mainstream is starting to pay attention. The Dakar has a fully suspended hydroformed aluminum frame with 130mm of travel to absorb hits big and small.
Last weekend we assisted our Racing Team with their bike race, the Gatorade Criterium of Brentwood. It went off spectacularly well and we all got a ton of great feedback from the racing community. Putting on a race like this is a ton of work, but it is worth it and we get to do it all again this weekend at the Fat Tire Festival and 6 Hours of Hamilton Creek.
