Harpeth Bicycles loves racing

June 4, 2010

Last weekend we assisted our Racing Team with their bike race, the Gatorade Criterium of Brentwood. It went off spectacularly well and we all got a ton of great feedback from the racing community. Putting on a race like this is a ton of work, but it is worth it.

Our day started on Sunday morning around 6am with a trailer full of traffic cones and hay bales used to close off the roads and get the race course set up. By 8:15am the first races started, and they continued all day until mid afternoon when we tore everything down and returned the flow of traffic to it’s normal state.

It was exhausting and awesome and we get to do it all again this weekend! Harpeth Bicycles loves racing and we love to help put races on. This weekend those same hay bales will get put to use along the course of the Harpeth Bicycles 6 Hours of Hamilton Creek mountain bike race. Come out to the Fat Tire Festival on Saturday, then come and race with us on Sunday!
